There is only one of these in the state of California and it's located in the heart of Downtown San Diego near the gaslamp district.
This is a very classy and low light restaurant that specializes in their fresh variety of fish from around the world served a le carte with sides costing extra. This is the only place that i have seen Wahoo and Moonfish on the menu and I know most people would not even know what those fish look like.
Price Range: $25-$70
There is a a three course combo meal for around $25 that will get you a cup of New England Clam Chowder, choice of 3 main course meals, and a choice of one of 3 desserts.
All the fish come a la carte, so if you want sides, plan to share them with someone because they come in big portions. (we did not even finish our 2 sides ordered with a party of 8)
Dress: Casual Dress
This has surpassed all of my favorite seafood restaurants that I have previously tried and it was a great experience to try exotic fish tastes that have never touched my adventurous palet. If you are looking for the best food in town and you love seafood, this is a must stop especially if you have no budget. It is good for groups as well as romantic dates, be sure to ask about the Baked Alaska for dessert and make reservations before you come because it is a packed house.
The bread and Clam choweder were great as well. I always compared clam chowder to The Fish Company clam chowder and i would have to say it doesn't top it, but it is very close in quality and taste. I like to say that you know how good a place is by their bread or rice (rice for sushi places).

Wahoo with a creamy blue crab sauce with blue crab chunks and asparagus on top. I rarely see Wahoo on the menu so I had to have it, although I have only had it as sashimi and never broiled. It has a full and tough texture like Swordfish, but tastes great.
When they brought this, I was amazed! I don't remember what it was called, but it is basically a seafood shellfish combo with Oysters, Scallops (in shell), Mussels, JUMBO shrimp, snow crab legs and alaskan king crab legs. Definitely a masterpiece!
mmmMmmm so good and so fun to watch! We saw the table next to us get it, so we got it too, and then every table around us started ordering it HAHA. Creme Brulee, Chocolate cake, Ice cream in the middle, covered with Meringue. "baked" with Bacardi 151 lit on fire and poured on top. Served all 8 of us.
Here are some pics and reviews of some of the things i did in Downtown San Diego near Gaslamp. My family and I stayed at the Omni Hotel (675 L St San Diego, CA 92101) which is the only American Hotel that is connected to a professional sports stadium (Petco Park of the San Diego Padres).
The room was nice, not the best I've been to, but it was nicely designed. TV was kinda small, but i would have to say that the bathroom and the view from the window were the best parts of the room.
The robe complimented the bathroom pretty nicely haha
So my brother and I went to Petco Park and this stadium didn't always use to be in Downtown. I like how they kept some of the old historic buildings and integrated it with the park. They even have a small little baseball diamond for the kids to play and for you to lounge out in the grass and watch the game from rightfield. It was a great crowd too, all the fans got along, I didnt see a single beachball thrown around!!! THATS AMAZING! (dodger fans....haha...) What made the game even more exciting was that the home team won and we got to see their 2 best players. Jake Peavy and Trevor Hoffman.
This is inside the park area. It's open when there are no games going on. Mini baseball diamond for the kids and open grass in the back. Look at the old Western Metal Supply Co. building in Leftfield! Theres seating there too! Mikey and I in right field View from our seats As Peter would yell...."PEAAVY!!" Trevor Time Tried to get a picture of Peavy and me in one picture. Only time u would find me saying "Lets Go Padres!"
